Diamond pacifier for babies born with a silver spoon in the mouth

An American company has come up with a replacement for babies born with a silver spoon in their mouth – a pacifier set with diamonds that will set back the person buying the pacifier as a gift a princely $17,000.
According to media reports, Hollywood’s celebrity parents have taken to the pacifier as a baby gift, with claims that the twin daughters of actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie own one each.
The custom diamond pacifiers are produced by PersoanlizedPacifiers.com from Henderson, Nevada, and are made from 14K white gold and set with three carats of pave-set diamonds.
The firm said on its web site that pacifiers can be customized with coloured diamonds and engraved with the baby's name, initials, birth date, or birth weight. The firm added that although it does not recommend actual use, “the diamond pacifier makes a fabulous keepsake.”
