The unique 11.15 carats internally flawless fancy vivid pink diamond named Williamson Pink Star, will be offered by Sotheby’s at an auction taking place on October 5th in Hong Kong. This in only the second internally flawless pink diamond over 10 carats to be auctioned. The first one was the CTF Pink Star sold in 2017 at a record price of $71.2 million.
The Williamson Pink Star was cut and polished into a cushion shape from a 32.32 carats rough stone. The rough diamond was found in the Williamson mine in Tanzania, owned by Petra Diamonds.
It's estimated that this incredible color diamond will be sold for $1.9 million a carat.
