Artic Canadian Diamond Finds The Largest Fancy Vivid Yellow in Canada

The Arctic Canadian Diamond Company announced last week the recovery of a 71.26 carats Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond.

The octahedron diamond was extracted on August 25th in the Ekati Mine Misery Pipe in Canada, and is believed to be the largest fancy yellow diamond found in the country. This mine has been operating for over 24 years and is known to have found a relevant number of precious yellow diamonds.

Rory Moore, President and CEO of Arctic Canadian spoke regarding the recent recovery: “Canadian diamonds are some of the most sought-after globally because of responsible mining practices and environmental stewardship. This stone is a testament to Ekati’s ability to deliver value now and into the future.”
