Supermodel Kate Moss launching jewellery brand based on her tattoos

British model Kate Moss is launching a collection of 22 sparkling jewellery accessories based on her numerous tattoos.

The jewellery includes symbols such as anchors and stars, and is being created in collaboration with the Parisian luxury jeweller Fred.

Moss, who is 37 years old, has already launched a range of clothing, make-up and bags.

Among the most expensive items is a diamond and ruby necklace which will reportedly sell for around £30,000 ($47,000).

All of the other items, including stacking rings and pendant necklaces, are made from gold, silver and precious stones. The range starts at £300 ($470).

Kate is no stranger to jewellery having modelled items on a number of occasions, and she was the face of jewellery houses, including the American brand David Yurman.

Kate's range will be available in Fred stores in France, Tokyo and in Harrods, as well as its online boutique from October 1.

Fred, which is owned by luxury goods giant LVMH, was founded by Fred Samuel in 1936 offering a range of jewellery, watches and glasses.
