HRD Launches 2013 Design Awards

(IDEX Online News) – HRD Antwerp has launched the 2013 version of its diamond jewelry design awards. The theme of this year's competition is “Trompe l'oeil” with designers being asked to “delve into the world of deception and illusion, producing brilliant diamond jewelry pieces that explore the boundary between image and reality.”

The designer of the winning entry will be awarded a cash price of $10,000. Four finalists will each receive $2,5000.

The winning collection will be exhibited and promoted internationally during 2013- 2014, at exhibitions, jewelry fairs, events and galleries.

The deadline for registration and submission of designs is December 15, 2012.
