Graff Diamonds to Display $55M 'Hallucination' Watch at BaselWorld

(March 27, '14, 2:02 Albert Robinson) (IDEX Online) – In a move that is likely to attract widespread media attention at the BaselWorld show starting today (Thursday), Graff Diamonds will display its $55 million ''Hallucination'' watch.

The timepiece features different colored diamonds and Graff Diamonds believes it is likely to the most valuable watch ever created.

The watch, which is set with 110 carats of fancy colored diamonds and reportedly took thousands of hours to complete, will be on display at the March 27-April 3 show.

Graff Diamonds Chairman Laurence Graff said, “The Graff Hallucination is a sculptural masterpiece; a celebration of the miracle of colored diamonds. For many years I have thought about creating a truly remarkable watch that illustrates our all consuming passion for diamonds. The Hallucination has made my diamond dream a reality.”
