Antwerp’s rough diamond imports are up 15.8% by volume and 14.08% value; exports up 27.04% by volume and 9.29% by value.
In November, Antwerp’s rough diamond trade recorded a ‘very good’ outcome, as per AWDC, over the same month last year. Import of rough diamonds rose 15.8 percent in volume and 14.08 percent in value. Rough diamond exports rose 27.04 percent in volume and 9.29 percent in value. An especially noticeable rough diamond export surge was visible for the United Arab Emirates and India as compared to November 2013.
