Diacore Purchases 32.32 carats Rough Pink Diamond

Diacore Purchases 32.32 carats Rough Pink Diamond

The rough pink diamond originated from the Williamson mine in Tanzania. The stone was on sale as part of Petra’s first tender of Williamson rough since the Covid shutdown and was bought by Diacore for $13.8 million.

The diamond will be analyzed and cut by the company in order to bring out its rare color. This is not the first time Diacore makes this type of purchase, as it is well known for having created the 203.04 carats De Beers Millennium Star and the 56.60 carats fancy vivid pink diamond named Pink Star.
