An oval-cut, 1.02-carat, fancy-vivid-blue diamond was the highest price sale during Christie’s recent London Auction.
Christie’s auction collected $5.7 million in total having the blue diamond fetching the highest price being sold for $534,800
Other pieces sold at the auction include a collection belonging to Victoria, Lady de Rothschild, a renowned philanthropist and collector. The main jewel of the collection was an Art Deco brooch sold at $75,206, considerably above its valuation.
