[New-York] One of the world’s finest collections of Indian jewellery and bejeweled objects has been auctioned in New York on June 19. Christie's Maharajas & Mughal Magnificence sale achieved an astronomical total of $109.3 million. Amongst this coveted 400-lot sale from the Al Thani collection, outstanding Mughal jewels, European-Indian hybrid designs and bespoke 20th-Century creations were offered to sale. This unparalleled auction featured a number of outstanding historical Golconda diamonds, which included natural fancy colored diamonds.

A 7.56 carats old mine brilliant-cut, natural fancy light pink diamond with VS1 clarity was auctioned for $471,000.
