Dianor Recovers Fancy Colored Diamonds in Ontario

Canadian diamond exploration firm Dianor Resources announced Wednesday results for 13 drill holes in Ontario. Over fifty percent (52.4) of the diamonds recovered were colored diamond, including one pink diamond. The colored diamonds ranged from brown (26.8%), grey (14.0%), yellow (5.5%), green (5.1%), orange (0.8%), purple (0.1%), amber (0.1%) and black (0.1%). The ten largest diamonds recovered were commercial sized (+0.85 mm) colored stones (8 brown, 1 yellow and 1 grey), ranging in weight from 1.0583 to 2.6327 milligrams (0.005292 - 0.01316 carats.)
